Not a very good bit of information, but as much as I can say without sounding completely crazy myself. ^_^
So, you might wonder why this site is called the Conclave RolePlay Forum. Or why the forum seems to be modeled after a school system if the site's RP is not school-based. Well, let me tell you.
The school this forum is modeled after is the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts. Conclave is a club here at the school for RolePlayers (Literary and Visual, even Real-life), Fantasy and Sci-fi fans, and people who thrive on having a good time and seeing their club sponsor fight with a sword. ^_^ We go to a few Renaissance Festivals every year also and dress up in the time's clothing (ie. garb). This RP forum is the first real one that's gone up, and we'd like to make it a success.
Why did we model it after LSMSA if we're not a school RP forum? People from the school itself will be on this site to participate and enjoy the fun of literary RPing. We figured that modeling it after the school would give it a unique air about it, instead of giving it the usual form, which can get a bit boring after a while.
Our goal to help bring a community of gamers, artists, writers, and all kinds of people together in one place where everyone can participate in something. We will always be undergoing changes. No doubt about that, but the goals will always remain the same. Bring us your ideas, your passions, anything you want to offer. We'll be glad to have you in our community.
